OUR ALLIES ON THE PATH OF TRUT

Partner doctors

Some thirty doctors work with Awacak to explain to families the medical information found for their missing child.

They are family doctors who already work in indigenous environments, First Nations doctors or specialist doctors who have contacted us to help.

The doctors meet with the families who request it.
This can be done in person, but sometimes the meetings are virtual.

Awacak has entered into an agreement with the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, specifically with the Laboratory headed by Suzy Basile, to recover, classify and store the data collected by the association.

The information provided by families looking for a child, and the DNA tests carried out, are filed and stored in a secure cabinet on the Amos campus. The university covers the costs of storage and classification. But the data belongs to the families, who can retrieve it at any time.
